Chapter · Features

Everything a solo practice needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Nine things Nafsi does, written plainly. No icons, no card chrome — just the work itself.

01 / Notes

The session is the work. The notes are the record.

You edit and save when you're ready — a Save and Cancel bar sits at the bottom of the editor. Leave mid-edit and your work is flushed to disk anyway, so nothing is lost. Power loss mid-session, the app quits, the cat on the keyboard — your notes survive. Pick up with your text right where you left it.

The ledger

What's in v1.

  1. Encrypted by default

Everything is encrypted on your device, unlocked only by your device login. Lose the laptop, lose nothing.

  2. Truly multilingual

Arabic, English, and French are first-class. Full RTL — not just mirrored text.

  3. Week-view scheduling

A real calendar grid, not a list. Drag to book or block out time; clashes are caught at save.

  4. Notes that survive crashes

Save when you're ready; leaving mid-edit flushes your work anyway. Your notes survive a crash.

  5. Validated assessments

    PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5, AUDIT, BDI-II, BAI, DAST-10, K10 — eight instruments, interpreted against validated cutoffs.

  6. Suggestions, not diagnoses

From the symptoms you record, Nafsi can point to assessments worth considering, and from those results and the clinical picture, surface diagnoses and approaches to review. A prompt for your judgment, never a replacement for it.

  7. Medication log

Prescriptions, dose changes, side-effect notes, all in one timeline.

  8. WhatsApp with guards

Templates that keep clinical detail out of chat history.

  9. Encrypted backups

Scheduled, encrypted, auto-rotated. CSV/JSON export only when you explicitly ask.
